ಬೀಳಿಸದಿರೆಲೊ ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರಳನಿತರರ ಮೇಲೆ ।
ಬಾಳಿಕೊಳುಗವರು ತಂತಮ್ಮ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲಿ ॥
ಮೇಲುಬೀಳುಗಳಾರ್ಗದೆಂತೊ ನೀನೇನರಿವೆ? ।
ತಾಳದಿರು ಗುರುತನವ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೪೪ ॥
ನಿನ್ನ ನೆರಳಿನ ಛಾಯೆಯನ್ನು ಇತರರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳಿಸದೆ ಇರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ. ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಯಾವುದು ಮೇಲು ಅಥವಾ ಕೀಳು ಎನ್ನುವುದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಏನು ಅರಿತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀಯೆ? ನೀನು ಗುರು ಪದವಿಯನ್ನು ತಾಳದೆ ಇರು ಎಂದು ಒಂದು ಸೂಕ್ತ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಾದವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಪೆರತೊಂದು ಬಾಳ ನೀನಾಳ್ವ ಸಾಹಸವೇಕೆ? ।
ಹೊರೆ ಸಾಲದೇ ನಿನಗೆ, ಪೆರರ್ಗೆ ಹೊಣೆವೋಗೆ? ॥
ಮರದಿ ನನೆ ನೈಜದಿಂದರಳೆ ಸೊಗವೆಲ್ಲರ್ಗೆ ।
ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಸೇಮವೇಂ? - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೪೫ ॥
ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬರ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಆಳುವ ಆಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಸ ನಿನಗೇಕೆ? ನೀನು ಹೊತ್ತು ತಂದಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ಹೊರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಾಲದೇ? ಅನ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಹೊರೆಯಾಗುವಂತಹ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಲಹೆ ಸಂದೇಶಗಳು ಅವರಿಗೇಕೆ? ಮರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೊಗ್ಗು ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ಅರಳಿದರೆ ಅದು ಸೊಗಸು. ನಿರ್ಬಂಧದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ವಾಸ ಕ್ಷೇಮವೇ? ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಅನ್ಯರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಸ್ತಕ್ಷೇಪ ಮಾಡದಿರುವುದು ಸೂಕ್ತವೆನ್ನುವ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಮರಣದಿಂ ಮುಂದೇನು? ಪ್ರೇತವೋ? ಭೂತವೋ? ।
ಪರಲೋಕವೋ? ಪುನರ್ಜನ್ಮವೊ? ಅದೇನೋ! ॥
ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದವರಿಲ್ಲ, ವರದಿ ತಂದವರಿಲ್ಲ ।
ಧರೆಯ ಬಾಳ್ಗದರಿನೇಂ? - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೪೬ ॥
ಮರಣದ ನಂತರವೇನು? ನಾವು ಪ್ರೇತವಾಗುತ್ತೇವೇಯೋ, ಭೂತವಾಗುತ್ತೇವೆಯೋ, ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ, ಸೇರುತ್ತೇವೆಯೋ ಅಥವಾ ಮತ್ತೆ ಜನ್ಮಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆಯೋ, ಅದೇನೋ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮರಣಹೊಂದಿದವರಾರೂ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ನಮಗೆ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯ ವರದಿಯನ್ನೂ ನೀಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಆ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರಿಂದ, ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಬದುಕು, ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬದಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಅದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತಿಸುವುದು ಬೇಡ ಎನ್ನುವ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.

ನೆಲದ ಬೇಸಾಯ ತಾನೊಳ್ಳಿತಾಗಿರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ।
ಫಲದೆಂತಹುದೆಂಬ ಶಂಕೆಗೆಡೆಯುಂಟೆ? ॥
ಒಳಿತರೊಳೆ ನೀಂ ಬಾಳು; ಪರವದೆಂತಿರ್ದೊಡೇಂ? ।
ಇಳೆಯೆ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಪರಕೆ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೪೭ ॥
ಹೇಗೆ, ರೈತ ತನ್ನ ನೆಲದ ಬೇಸಾಯವನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ತ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ‘ ಫಸಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತದೋ? ‘ ಎನ್ನುವ ಅನುಮಾನ ಪದಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲವೋ, ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನದಿಂದ ಬಾಳಿದರೆ ಬದುಕಿನ ನಂತರ ಎಂತಹ ಫಲಗಳು ಸಿಗುತ್ತವೆಯೋ ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತಿಸುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಈ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಜೀವನವೇ ಪರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಎಂದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು.

ಸ್ಥಿರ ಹಿಮಾಚಲ ಬೊಮ್ಮ, ಚರ ಜಾಹ್ನವಿಯೆ ಮಾಯೆ ।
ಪರಸತ್ತ್ವ ಘನದ ವಿದ್ರವರೂಪ ವಿಶ್ವ ॥
ಪರಮಾರ್ಥಕೊಂದಕ್ಷಿ ವೆವಹಾರಕಿನ್ನೊಂದು ।
ಎರಡುಮೊಂದಾಂತರ್ಯ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೪೮ ॥
ಆಚಲವಾದಂತಹ ಹಿಮಾಲಯ ಪರ್ವತದಂತೆ ಪರಬ್ರಹ್ಮ ವಸ್ತುವು. ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಮಾಯೆಯೇ ಆ ಹಿಮಾಲಯ ಪರ್ವತದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡುವ ಜಾಹ್ನವಿ,ಎಂದರೆ ಗಂಗಾನದಿಯಂತೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪರಸತ್ವ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಘನರೂಪವಾದರೆ, ಈ ವಿಶ್ವ ಆ ಪರಸತ್ವದ ದ್ರವ ರೂಪ. ಪರಮಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ಮತ್ತು ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ವ್ಯವಹಾರವನ್ನು ನೋಡುವ ನಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಬೇರೆಬೇರೆಯಾದರೂ ಎರಡರೊಳಗಿರುವ ಅಂತರಂಗದ ಸತ್ವ ಒಂದೇ ಎಂದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು.

ಒಮ್ಮನಸಿನಿಂದ ನೀನೀ ತತ್ತ್ವವಂ ಗ್ರಹಿಸು ।
ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಲೀಲೆಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತುಗುರಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲ ॥
ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಡನು ಪಡುತ ತುಟಿ ಬಿಗಿದು ।
ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಗೆ ದಾರಿಯದು - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೪೯ ॥
ಏಕಾಗ್ರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ನೀನು ಈ ತತ್ವವನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸು. ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನ ಲೀಲಾವಿನೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಮಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲ, ಗೊತ್ತು ಗುರಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂದ ಪಾಡನ್ನು ಪಡುತ್ತ ಮೌನವಾಗಿ, ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ, ಶಾಂತವಾಗಿರು. ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಇದೇ ದಾರಿ,ಎಂಬ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.
