ಭಾನೂದಯಾಸ್ತಗಳಿನಲ್ತೆ ದಿಕ್ಕಾಲಗಳ ।
ಮಾನಗಣಿತವು ನಮಗೆ? ಭಾನುವಿರದೊಡದೇಂ? ॥
ಅನಂತ್ಯ, ಶುದ್ಧಸತ್ತಾ ಮಾತ್ರ, ಬೊಮ್ಮನದು ।
ಲೀನನಾಗದರೊಳಗೆ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೯೪ ॥
ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಉದಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಳುಗುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ, ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಅಳತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲದ ಲೆಕ್ಕಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಸೂರ್ಯನೇ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ? ಆಗ ಅನಂತವಾದ ಪರಬ್ರಹ್ಮನ ಶುದ್ಧ ಸತ್ವ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ. ಅಂತಹ ಶುದ್ಧ ಸತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೀನವಾಗು ಎಂದು ಆದೇಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಸಂಕೇತಭಾವಮಯ ಲೋಕಜೀವನದ ನಯ ।
ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ ಗುಣ ಹೇತು ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಲಕ್ಷಣದಿಂ- ॥
ದಂಕಿತಂಗಳು ಪದಪದಾರ್ಥ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳು ।
ಅಂಕೆ ಮೀರ್ದುದು ಸತ್ತ್ವ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೯೫ ॥
ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಜೀವನ, ಸಂಕೇತ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾವಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದೆ. ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ,ಗುಣ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿಂದ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳ ಗುರುತು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳಿರುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇವುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಕ್ಕೂ ಆಧಾರವಾದ ಆ ಪರತತ್ವ, ಈ ಎಲ್ಲದರಿಂದ ಅತೀತವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ, ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಭೌತವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿವರಗಳಿನೇನಾತ್ಮಂಗೆ? ।
ಪ್ರೇತಪ್ರಯಾಣಕಥೆಯೆಂತಿರ್ದೊಡೇನು? ॥
ಜಾತಿ ನೀತಿ ಸಮಾಜ ವರ್ಗ ಭೇದದಿನೇನು? ।
ಘಾತಿಯಿಲ್ಲಾತ್ಮಂಗೆ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೯೬ ॥
ಭೌತ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ವಿವರಗಳಿಂದ ಆತ್ಮನಿಗೇನಾಗಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ? ಆತ್ಮ, ಈ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಮೇಲೆ ಏನಾಗುವುದು ಎನ್ನುವ ವಿಚಾರ ಹೇಗಿದ್ದರೇನು?ಅದರಿಂದ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೇನು? ಜಾತಿ, ನೀತಿ, ಸಮಾಜ ಮತ್ತು ವರ್ಗ ಭೇಧದಿಂದ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನಾಗಬೇಕು? ಇವಾವುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಆತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ರೀತಿಯ ಧಕ್ಕೆಯೂ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಎಂದು ಹೊರಗಿನ ರೂಪ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರೊಳಗಿರುವ ಚೇತನದ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಶೂನ್ಯವೆಲ್ಲವುಮೆಂಬೊಡಂತೆನಿಸುವುದದೇನು? ।
ಅನ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲೆನುವರಿವದೊಂದಿರ್ಪುದಲ್ತೆ? ॥
ಚಿನ್ಮಯವನದನೆ ನೀಂ ಸತ್ಯವೆಂದಾಶ್ರಯಿಸು ।
ಶೂನ್ಯವಾದವೆ ಶೂನ್ಯ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೯೭ ॥
ದೇವರಿಲ್ಲ, ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಶೂನ್ಯ ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ, ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ, ನಿನಗೆ, ಆ ಅರಿವಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಹೇಗೆ ಅನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ?. ದೇವರು ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಅರಿವಾದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೆಯಲ್ಲ. ಆ ಅರಿವೇ ಸತ್ವ, ಚಿನ್ಮಯ ಸ್ವರೂಪವಾದ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸು. ಶೂನ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಒಂದು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶೂನ್ಯವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವ ಅರಿವು, ಎಂದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು, ಇದೆಯಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ಶೂನ್ಯವಾದವೇ, ‘ಶೂನ್ಯ’ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.
"There is a school of thought that proposes that nothing exists. Existence is nothing but a big zero. But what is that one can feel to be existing? If not anything, there is at least the feeling that nothing else exists. That feeling is at least very real. That is just a thought. You should consider it as the truth and surrender to it. ನರನರೀ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು, ನಾಟಕದ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು ।
ಪರಿಪರಿಯ ವೇಷಗಳು, ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಷೆಗಳು ॥
ಬರುತಿಹುವು, ಬೆರಗನರಸಿ ಮೆರೆಯುವುವು, ತೆರಳುವುವು ।
ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯೋ ಲೋಕ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೮೯೮ ॥
ಈ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ಈ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪುರುಷರ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳು, ಕೇವಲ ನಾಟಕಕದ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಂತೆ ಇವೆ, ಇವು ಆಡುವ ಭಾಷೆಗಳು ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆ. ಇವರು ತೊಡುವ ವೇಷಗಳು ಪರಿಪರಿಯಾದದ್ದು. ಈ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು ಬರುತ್ತವೆ, ಆ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆರೆಯುತ್ತವೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೇಪತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಈ ಲೋಕ ಒಂದು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಂತೆ ಅನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು, ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಮುಕ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ.
