ಗೋಳಾಡಲುಂ ಬೇಡ, ಲೋಲಾಪ್ತಿಯುಂ ಬೇಡ ।
ಬಾಳು ಪರಚೇತನದ ಕೇಳಿಯೆಂದೆಣಿಸಿ ॥
ಪಾಲಿಗನು ನೀನದರೊಳೆನಿಪಂತೆ ಬಾಳುತಿರು ।
ಕೇಳಿಯುಂ ಧರ್ಮವೆಲೊ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೬೪ ॥
ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಬದುಕು ಸರಿಯಿಲ್ಲವೆಂಬ ಗೋಳಾಟವೂ ಬೇಡ ಅಥವಾ ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತಿಯಾದ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಬೇಡ. ಈ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಾಳು ಆ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮನ ಆಟ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ಅದರೊಳಗಿನ ಒಂದು ಪಾಲನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ "ಹಾಗೆ ಬಾಳುವುದು ಧರ್ಮ" ಎಂದು ಬಾಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಜೀವಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಒಂದು ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಬಾಳ ಸಿರಿ ಸೊಗಸುಗಳ ಪೆರ್ಚಿಪನು ಖೇಲಕನು ।
ಕೀಳದೆನಿಪವನೊರಟ, ಮಂಕ, ಕಲ್ಲೆದೆಗ ॥
ತೋಳಿಂದೆ ತಿಳಿವಿಂದೆ ನುಡಿಯಿಂದೆ ಜಗದರಿವ ।
ಮೇಲೆನಿಪವನೆ ರಸಿಕ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೬೫ ॥
ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಸುಂದರತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಈ ಜಗನ್ನಾಟಕ ಸೂತ್ರಧಾರಿ. ಇದನ್ನು ಕೀಳು ಎಂದು ಎನ್ನುವವನು ಒರಟ ,ಮಂಕ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲ್ಲು ಮನದವನು. ತನ್ನ ಬಾಹುಬಲದಿಂದ, ಅರಿವಿನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾತಿನ ಚಮತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ, ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿಸುವವನೆ, ರಸಿಕ ಎಂದು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಬಾಳ ಹಳಿವುದದೇಕೆ? ಗೋಳ ಕರೆವುದದೇಕೆ? ।
ಬಾಳಿದಲ್ಲದೆ ತಪ್ಪದೇನ ಮಾಡಿದೊಡಂ ॥
ಕೇಳಿಯದು ಬೊಮ್ಮನಾಡಿಪನು ನೀನದರೊಳಗೆ ।
ಪಾಲುಗೊಳಲಬೇಡ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೬೬ ॥
ನೀವು ಈ ಬಾಳನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಹಳಿಯುತ್ತೀರಾ? ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕೆ ಗೋಳಾಡುತ್ತೀರಾ? ತಪ್ಪೋನೆಪ್ಪೋ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಬದುಕಲೇ ಬೇಕು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕು ನಿಮ್ಮದಲ್ಲ ಆ ಪರಬ್ರಹ್ಮನಾಡಿಸುವ ಜಗನ್ನಾಟಕ. ಅದನ್ನು ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಿತು ನೀವು ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಪಾಲುಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಅಳಬೇಡಿ ಎಂದು ಆದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ

ಲೀಲೆಯೇಂ ಬಾಳೆಲ್ಲ? ಛೀ ತಳ್ಳು ಹಾಸ್ಯವನು ।
ಬಾಲರೇಂ ನಾವಿನ್ನುಮೆನುತ ಪಲ್ಕಡಿದು ॥
ಖೇಲನವ ಬೇಡವೆನುವರನು ವಿಧಿರಾಯನವ- ।
ಹೇಳಿಪನು ಸೆರೆವಿಡಿದು - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೬೭ ॥
ನಾವೇನು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಕ್ಕಳೇನು? ಈ ಜಗತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಬದುಕು ಒಂದು ನಾಟಕ ಮತ್ತು ಇದು ಆ ಜಗನ್ನಾಟಕ ಸೂತ್ರಧಾರಿಯಾಡಿಸುವ ಆಟ ಎಂದು, ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾವು ಚಕಾರವೆತ್ತದೆ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀರಾ? ತಮಾಷೆಮಾಡಬೇಡಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾಗೇನೂಇಲ್ಲ!! ಎಂದು ಈ ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನು ಅವಹೇಳನ ಮಾಡುವವರನ್ನು ಈ ಜೀವನ ಬೇಡವೆನ್ನುವವರನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಆ ವಿಧಿರಾಯ ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದು ಬದುಕಲೇ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿಧಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ನಾಚಿಕೆಯದೇಕೆ ನೀಂ ಬದುಕಿನಲಿ ಸೊಗವಡಲು? ।
ಚಾಚುದಿಹುದಾತ್ಮ ನಾಲಗೆಯ ದೆಸೆದೆಸೆಗೆ ॥
ಬಾಚಿಕೊಳಲಮೃತಕಣಗಳನೆಲ್ಲ ತನ್ನೆಡೆಗೆ ।
ಸಾಜ ಸೊಗವಾತ್ಮಂಗೆ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೬೮ ॥
ಬದುಕಿನಲಿ ಸುಖಪಡಲು ನೀನೇಕೆ ನಾಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀಯ? ನಿನ್ನಾತ್ಮವು ಈ ಜೀವನದ ಸುಖವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು, ಸುಖದ ಪ್ರತಿಘಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನೆಡೆಗೆ ಸೆಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು,ನಾಲ್ಕೂ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನು ಚಾಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.ಆನಂದಪಡುವುದೇ ಆತ್ಮದ ಸಹಜ ಗುಣ ಎಂದು ವೇದಂತದ ಒಂದು ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.
