ಅದು ಬೇಕು ಇದು ಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬೇಕೆಂದು ।
ಬೆದಕುತಿರುವುದು ಲೋಕ ಸೊಗದಿರವನೆಳಸಿ ॥
ಹೃದಯಗುಹೆಯಾ ಸುಖಧ್ಯಾನದೂಟೆಯೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ।
ಮುದಗಳಮಿತದ ನಿಧಿಗೆ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೨೪ ॥
ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದಸುಖಗಳಆಸೆಯ ಒರತೆ ಅಥವಾ ಊಟೆ ಬತ್ತುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಸದಾಕಾಲಮನಸ್ಸು “ಅದು ಬೇಕು ಇದು ಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಮತ್ತು ಅದು “ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂದು ಹುಡುಕಾಡುತ್ತಲೇಇರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಶರಧಿಯೊಳಗಣ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನಲಚಿ ಜಾಲಿಸುವ ।
ತೆರೆಯಂತೆ ವಿಶ್ವಸತ್ತ್ವದ ಲಹರಿ ನಮ್ಮ ॥
ಹೊರಗೊಳಗುಗಳಲಿ ಸಂತತ ನೆರೆದು ಹರಿಯುತ್ತ ।
ಭರಿಸುತಿರುವುದು ಬಾಳ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೨೫ ॥
ಸಮುದ್ರದೊಳಗಿರುವ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇರಿ ಜಾಲಿಸುವ ಸಾಗರದ ತೆರೆಗಳಂತೆ, ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ತತ್ವಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಒಳಗು ಹೊರಗುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಬಿ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಭರಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಉಸಿರವೊಲನುಕ್ಷಣಂ ಪುರುಷನೊಳವೊಗುತವನ ।
ಪೊಸಬನಂಗೆಯ್ದು ದೈವಿಕಸತ್ತ್ವಮವನುಂ ॥
ಪೊಸತನವನ್ ಉಳಿದ ಲೋಕಕೆ ನೀಡೆ ದುಡಿವಂತೆ ।
ಬೆಸಸುತಿಹುದೇಗಳುಂ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೨೬ ॥
ಉಸಿರು ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಹದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಕ್ಕು, ನಮಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಉಸಿರಾಟದಲ್ಲೂ ಒಂದು ಹೊಸತನವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಆ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ ತತ್ವವು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಒಳಹೊಕ್ಕು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೊಸತನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಸತನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲು ದುಡಿಯುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಬೆಸುಗೆ ಪರಮಾತ್ಮ ತತ್ವಕ್ಕೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೂ ಸದಾಕಾಲ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ನೂತ್ನತೆಯ ಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯನನ್ಯೂನತೆಯ ಗಳಿಪ ।
ಯತ್ನಮೆ ಪೌರುಷಪ್ರಗತಿ; ಅದೆ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ॥
ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಕಲೆ ಕಾವ್ಯ ವಿದ್ಯೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ।
ಧನ್ಯತೆಯ ಬೆದಕಾಟ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೨೭ ॥
ಹೊಸತನವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯನ್ನು ಕುಂದಿಲ್ಲದ್ದನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವೇ ಪುರುಷನ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯ ಪ್ರತೀಕ. ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯನ್ನು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವುದು, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ಕಲೆ, ಕಾವ್ಯ, ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ, ಸಂಗೀತ ಮುಂತಾದ ವಿದ್ಯೆಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯಡೆಗೆ ನಡೆಯಲು ಬೇಕಾದ ಸಾಧನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವೇ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯ ಸಾಧನೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವೆಂದು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮತಿಯು ತಾಂ ಸತ್ಯಶುಭಗಳ ನವನವಾಂಶಗಳ ।
ಗತಿಯನರಸುತ ನಡೆಯೆ ಪೌರುಷಪ್ರಗತಿ ॥
ಮತ ನೀತಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯಸಂಧಾನಗಳು ।
ಮತಿಯ ಕಿಂಚಿದ್ವಿಜಯ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೨೮ ॥
ಮನುಷ್ಯ ತನ್ನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಹೊಸ ವಿಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಸಹೊಸ ವಿಷಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಲು ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಿ ನಡೆದರೆ ಪುರುಷ ಪ್ರಗತಿ . ಆ ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭಿಸಿದ ಅಲ್ಪಮಾತ್ರ ವಿಜಯವೇ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ನೀತಿ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳು, ಅವನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳು ಎಂದು ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

In that regard he has come up with his own moral framework, written scriptures, got countries to agree on treaties. All these are small victories of the mind.
