ನಾಟಕವ ನೋಡು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಂಡರಂಗಸ್ಥಲದಿ ।
ಕೋಟಿ ನಟರಾಂತಿಹರು ಚಿತ್ರಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ॥
ಆಟಕ್ಕೆ ಕಥೆಯಿಲ್ಲ ಮೊದಲಿಲ್ಲ ಕಡೆಯಿಲ್ಲ ।
ನೋಟಕರು ಮಾಟಕರೆ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೫೪ ॥
ಇಡೀ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಂಡವೇ ಒಂದು ರಂಗಸ್ಥಳ. ಈ ರಂಗಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ನಾಟಕವ ನೋಡು. ಈ ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿತ್ರ ವಿಚಿತ್ರ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಧರಿಸಿ ಕೋಟಿ ಕೋಟಿ ನಟರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ನಾಟಕದ ಕಥೆಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದೂ ಅಂಕಕ್ಕೂ, ಮೊದಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಕೊನೆಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪಾತ್ರಧಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿಯೂ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ನಾಟಕದೊಳನುವಿಂದ ಬೆರತದನು ಮೆಚ್ಚೆನಿಸಿ ।
ನೋಟಕನುಮಾಗಿ ತಾಂ ನಲಿದು ನಲಿಯಿಸುವಾ ॥
ಪಾಠವನು ಕಲಿತವನೆ ಬಾಳನಾಳುವ ಯೋಗಿ ।
ಆಟಕಂ ನಯವುಂಟು - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೫೫ ॥
ಈ ಜಗನ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾತ್ರಧಾರಿಗಳಾದ ನಾವುಗಳು ಈ ನಾಟಕದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ಪಾತ್ರ ಧರಿಸಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು, ನಟನಾಗಿಯೂ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕನಾಗಿಯೂ, ತನ್ನ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಿ ಆ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ತಾನೂ ನಲಿದು ಅನ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಸಂತಸವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂಥಾ ಪಾಠವನ್ನು ಕಲಿತರೆ ಯೋಗಿ. ಈ ಜಗನ್ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕೂ ಒಂದು ನಿಯಮ ಉಂಟು ಎಂದು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಬಾಳನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಸುಂದರವಾಗಿ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.
"The only way to be happy in this world is to realize that it is a drama played on a stage and immerse in it completely from the very beginning (of self). One must play his part to the fullest of his abilities to entertain others. ಪರದ ಮೇಲ್ಕಣ್ಣಿಟ್ಟು ಧರೆಯ ತುಚ್ಛವೆನುತ್ತ ।
ತೊರೆದಾಯಸಂಗೊಳ್ಳೆ ದೊರೆವ ಫಲವೇನು? ॥
ಸುರಧನುವಿಗೇಣಿಯಿಡಹೊರಟು ನಿನ್ನಂಗಳದ ।
ಕಿರಿಹೂವ ಮರೆಯುವೆಯ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೫೬ ॥
ನಾವು, ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ, ಇದು ಕಳಪೆಯಾಗಿದೆ, ಇದು ಕೀಳು, ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾ, ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲದ ಆ ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಅಥವಾ ಸುರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಆಸೆಪಟ್ಟು, ಇದನ್ನು ತೊರೆದರೆ ಏನು ಫಲ? "ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಾಮನ ಬಿಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಆಸೆಪಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಳಿದ ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ, ಆದರೂ ಸುಂದರ ಹೂವನ್ನು ಕಡೆಗಣಿಸುವೆಯಾ?" ಎಂದು ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.

ಪರಕಿಹವೆ ಸೋಪಾನವೆಂದು ನೀನೊಪ್ಪುವೊಡೆ ।
ಪರಕಿಂತಲಿಹವೆಂತು ಜೊಳ್ಳದಾದೀತು? ॥
ಹೊರಲೆಬೇಕಂತಾದೊಡಿಹದ ಹೊರೆಗಳನೆಲ್ಲ ।
ಜರೆವುದೇಕಿನ್ನದನು? - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೫೭ ॥
ಪರವನ್ನು ಸೇರಲು ಇಹವೆ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲು ಎಂದು ನೀನು ಒಪ್ಪುವುದಾದರೆ, ಇಹವು ಪರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಜೋಳ್ಳಾಗುವುದೆಂತು? ಈ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಬಂದಮೇಲೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಬದುಕಿನ ಹೊರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಲೆಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆದರೆ ಈ ಇಹದ ಬದುಕನ್ನು ಹಳಿಯುವುದು ಏಕೆ ? ಎಂದು ಒಂದು ಬದುಕಿನ ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ವಿಮರ್ಶೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.
"If you agree that a good after-life (in another world) is based on what we do in this world now. Then, how can we belittle what we do here? Actions here are as important as in the other world. In order to pass to the next, we have to bear all the troubles (and happiness) in this world without any exception. Then why frown up on this world?" - Mankutimma

ಒಲ್ಲೆನೆನದಿರು ಬಾಳನ್, ಒಲವದೇನೆನ್ನದಿರು ।
ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಕೆಡೆಮಾಡು ನಿನ್ನನಾದನಿತು ॥
ನಿಲ್ಲು ಕೆಚ್ಚೆದೆಯಿಂದಲನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನಳಿಸೆ ।
ಎಲ್ಲಕಂ ಸಿದ್ಧನಿರು - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ॥ ೨೫೮ ॥
ಈ ಬಾಳನ್ನು ಬೇಡ ಎನ್ನದಿರು. "ಈ ಜೀವನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಏಕಿಷ್ಟು ಒಲವು" ಎನ್ನದಿರು. ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಕ್ಕೆ ಎಡೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಡು. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಲಾದಷ್ಟು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿ,ದೈರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳಿಸಲು, ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಸದಾ ಸಿದ್ದನಿರು ಎಂದು ಒಂದು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ ಮಾನ್ಯ ಗುಂಡಪ್ಪನವರು ಈ ಕಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ.
